Criminal Justice: Correctional Officer

About

This program provides students with the necessary skills to work inside of a correctional facility. Students will learn the duties of a correctional officer, interpersonal communication skills, de-escalation,self-defense, mental health, first aid, investigations, gang culture, legal process, firearms simulations and much more. Students graduating the program will receive certification from the Tennessee Corrections Institute and have assistance with placement in a correctional facility.
